Orange peel, nuts, and jammy toasted wheat bread aromas follow through to a dry-yet-fruity medium-bodied palate with lovely Valencia orange, caramelized malt, stewed fruit, and subtle spiciness. Finishes with a lengthy fruit compote and tart, citrusy hop fade. A beautiful and elegant Trappist ale that is an outstanding exemplar of the abbey bruin or dubbel style.
