Fort Bragg, CA One of the first US Craft Brew Pubs, North Coast has been open since 1988. The brewery has blossomed under the leadership of brew master and owner Mark Ruedrich developing an impressive line of front line beers and limited releases. Red Seal is an impressive American Amber Ale that helped to define the style. This beer is beautifully balanced between malt and hops, showcasing some of the versatility of American hops. This accompanies grilled meats and rich sauces well.
Old #38 Stout is named for a retired California Western Railroad steam engine on the Fort Bragg to Willits run through the Redwoods. A full bodied Dublin style Dry Stout with lots of roasted and coffee flavors mingling together makes for a great pint.
Old Rasputin Imperial Stout, the cult beer of North Coast Brewing Company. Intense and complex this Russian Imperial Stout truly needs to be consumed.
Old Stock Vintage 2010 was just recently released. This beer is intended for the cellar where it will mellow and come into its own. Brewed with a generous amount of Maris Otter and Fuggle hops this beer is reminiscent of the best English Old Ales. Do not miss this one.
These exceptional beers and more are available in 47 states and are exported to Europe and the Pacific Rim. You can truly see why North Coast's slogan is "The best beers in this world... or any other."
